Informative statistics and community maps are available through the Baltimore City Data Collaborative. The BCDC provides mapping and statistical products to members of the community who share our goals in improving the lives of children and families in Baltimore. The mission of the BCDC is to advance the well-being of children and families in Baltimore City by providing accurate, reliable, and compelling data relating to the Eight Result Areas.

The Eight Result Areas are Babies Born Healthy, Healthy Children, Children Enter School Ready to Learn, Children Successful in School, Children Completing School, Children Safe in Their Families and Communities, Stable and Economically Independent Families, and Communities That Support Family Life.

To achieve this mission, the BCDC:
  1. Strengthens the ability to achieve measurable improvement in results for children and families.
  2. Provides accurate, reliable, and compelling data related to the Eight Result Areas for child and family well-being in order to inform policy and planning decisions, and to monitor the city's progress on achieving results.
  3. Publishes and maintains a standard set of indicators related to the Eight Result Areas for child and family well-being at the neighborhood, city, and state levels for public and partner use.
  4. Serves as a reciprocal partner with agencies in exchange for time, data, or expertise related to the Eight Result Areas.
